Ahead of the February 6th episode of Raw, it was reported that two WWE Hall of Famers were on their way back to WWE Raw.
WRKD Wrestling reported that Lita would be making her return that evening, and that fans could expect Trish Stratus to join her on the February 13th episode, setting the stage for the two to team up with Becky Lynch and take on Damage CTRL in trios action at the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event. The tweet was also endorsed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
The first part of the report came to pass as Lita made a surprise entrance during the main event of last week’s broadcast. As Becky Lynch was facing interference from IYO SKY during her cage match with Bayley, Lita’s music hit to a huge ovation from the crowd.
The Hall of Famer quickly attacked SKY and left her laying with a Twist of Fate. The distraction allowed Lynch to get the upper hand in the ring and deliver a Man-Handle Slam for the win. After the match, Lita celebrated with Lynch in the ring, a year after the pair wrestled at Elimination Chamber. The moment was especially poignant for Lita as she wrestled in the first women’s Cage Match in WWE history back in 2003.
However, ahead of the February 13th episode, WRKD reported that Stratus’ return had been scrapped, at least for the time being. Because Dakota Kai was still dealing with an injury incurred at the Royal Rumble, she would be unable to compete at the Elimination Chamber, so Stratus didn’t appear to set up the angle.

Now, ahead of the February 20th episode of Raw in Stratus’ home province of Ontario, WRKD is reporting that plans for the WWE Hall of Famer’s return are back in full swing as fans can expect her to appear.

There is no word on what role Trish Stratus will be taking on, but the previous report indicated that she would be setting up a lengthy program, which could indicate that she’s on her way to WrestleMania.
Stratus last competed inside a WWE ring when she faced Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam in 2019. In preparation for that bout, she teamed with Natalya to take on the team of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair on the August 5th episode of Raw.
