A member of the WWE Hall of Fame has stated that fans will see them make a return to the company at some point down the road.
Rounding out the Women’s Royal Rumble back in February, Nikki Bella made her return to the ring for the first time in 3 years as she entered the Rumble match for the third time in her career. Lasting just over 3 minutes, the Hall of Famer eliminated Bayley from the match but was eliminated by Nia Jax.
Following her appearance in the Rumble match and at the Raw on Netflix premiere, fans are hoping to see the former Women’s Champion return for one more match or an extended run. Speaking about a possible comeback on The Nikki and Brie Show, Bella stated that a return will just happen:
I know at one point, I will be going back to WWE to do something, right? I don’t know when, I don’t know the story. But it’s going to happen…
Bella’s last televised singles match took place in October 2018, where the Hall of Famer faced Ronda Rousey in the main event of the all-women’s pay-per-view Evolution.
Current Champion Asked About Match With WWE Hall Of Famer
If the Hall of Famer were to make a return to the ring, there is a strong chance that her comeback match could take place at WrestleMania given the magnitude of the event. In a recent interview, a current WWE Champion teased a possible WrestleMania showdown with Nikki Bella.
