Ric Flair has clarified his previous comments concerning the possibility of one more match.
Although The Nature Boy officially retired in 2022 at the pay-per-view titled Ric Flair’s Last Match, wrestling fans are well aware that in-ring retirements have a habit of not sticking with only a select few being true to their word. With Flair struggling to make it through the match, fans suspected that the WWE Hall of Famer may have attempted to get back in the ring one more time.
Speaking in a recent interview, Ric Flair was asked if he had one more match in him, prompting The Nature Boy to respond “Hell yeah, I do.” With the response gaining traction online, some fans requested Flair’s return match to be against Bronson Reed, prompting Reed to question if that was a good idea on social media:
“People keep saying they want me to TSUNAMI him [Flair] … yall really wanna watch someone die?”
Aware that his comments have caught the attention of fans and Reed, Flair confirmed that he would not be having one more match while also responding to Reed:
“No Return To The Ring Ever! Thankful For The Great Health And The Conditioning That Would Allow Me To. Bronson Reed Couldn’t Tsunami Me On His Best Day!”
