WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals The Absurd Way Haku Won A Bar Fight

WWE Hall of Famer Stevie Ray shared a gripping tale of a bar fight involving former WWE Superstar Haku. According to Stevie Ray, the incident unfolded in a small town in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he found himself alone before encountering fellow wrestlers at a local bar near his hotel.

In an episode of his podcast Stand Up for Greatness, Stevie Ray vividly described the chaotic scene that ensued at the bar, recounting an intense altercation involving Haku. As he approached the bar, a scuffle erupted, with “all kinds of s**t flying” and Haku allegedly using his formidable “Tongan Death Grip” on a bar patron. Stevie Ray intervened, ultimately managing to extricate Haku from the altercation and escort him back to the hotel, where he worked to calm him down and prevent any legal repercussions.

The show was not until the next day, it’s a big bar, a big cowboy club right across the parking lot from the hotel that I’m staying in, I walk in, I look across the club way over, and I see a bunch of the boys by the bar. As I’m walking over there. I see this scrum. This scrum breaks out. All kinds of s**t is flying, people flying, I get closer, I go through a couple people and Haku has a guy in the f**king Tongan Death Lock or whatever the f**k it was.

While Stevie Ray couldn’t pinpoint the exact timeline of the event, he emphasised the authenticity of Haku’s finisher, the Tongan Death Grip, validating its potency from his firsthand experience.

True story, if anyone’s ever seen the Tongan Death Grip on television, it’s real.

Why Does Former WWE Superstar Haku Believe He Was In So Many Bar Fights?

Former WWE Superstar, Haku, said that he believes the reason he was in so many bar fights was due to people not believing that wrestlers were tough during the 80s. He stated that after a few drinks, some men thought they would try their luck against the wrestlers and that the wrestlers had to protect the integrity of the business.
