WWE Hall Of Famer Pushed For Rhea Ripley To Join Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley with Judgment Day

Rhea Ripley’s career has gone from strength to strength since she joined Judgment Day back in May 2022.

Although The Nightmare had tasted success on the main roster before then, she has now become one of the most popular female stars in WWE. At the Royal Rumble, Ripley won the women’s match from number one and in doing so booked herself a championship match at WrestleMania 39.

On the following episode of Monday Night Raw, Ripley announced that she would be taking on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

Shortly after Ripley joined Judgment Day, founding member Edge was thrown out of the group and replaced by Finn Balor. Since then Edge and his wife Beth Phoenix have been at war with the faction. The latest installment of their feud came at Elimination Chamber when the Hall of Fame couple saw off Balor and Ripley in a Mixed Tag Team match.

During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Phoenix revealed that she suggested that Ripley should be added to the faction.

“Adam [Edge] had talked to me on the female side of things, ‘Who do you think of the female roster who could really benefit from having a bigger platform? Who needs it? Who has all of that talent but just hasn’t had the opportunity to shine in a big way?'”

Beth Phoenix Pulling For Rhea Ripley

Continuing on, Phoenix added that she’ll be pulling for Rhea Ripley to get the win over The Queen at WrestleMania.

“I’m pulling for Rhea Ripley, After our matchup, I feel like she’s on the biggest roll of her life.”

The feud between Edge and Judgment Day appears to be far from over, despite his victory at Elimination Chamber. On the February 27th episode of Raw, Balor challenged Edge to a match at WrestleMania. It has long been rumoured that the pair will meet inside Hell In A Cell.
