Mandy Rose is achieving great success with her current run in NXT. Since joining the NXT roster in July of 2021, Rose has been featured prominently on-screen as one of the brand’s main attractions.
Rose’s performances have now caught the eye of a beloved WWE Hall of Famer, who has spoken about “The Golden Goddess” with much acclaim.
WWE Hall of Famer Says Mandy Rose Is “In A League Of Her Own”
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T had very positive comments about Mandy Rose’s performances.
“Mandy Rose, she’s in a class of her own man. Mandy is in a class of her own. It’s not that I don’t wanna put Mandy in the favorite five, of course. She’s high on the list, you know what I mean. I’m thinking about making a different wing for Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction man because like I said before, that’s the only candy your mother wants you to have dog. I’m serious.”
Booker T is part of the NXT Commentary Team, so he has seen Mandy Rose excel first-hand over the past few months. Rose will be pleased to receive such praise from a Hall of Famer who has been in the wrestling business for nearly four decades.
Mandy Rose is riding high as the current reigning NXT Women’s Champion. She defeated Raquel González for the strap at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver in April of 2021 and has yet to be defeated. Her reign has lasted 412 days and counting, making her only the third woman to hold the championship for more than one calendar year, the other two being Asuka and Shayna Baszler.
Rose’s next challenger for the belt looks to be Roxanne Perez. Perez was the winner of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline on December 10th, successfully becoming the #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
