A WWE Hall of Famer has given their thoughts on who they would like to see Jacob Fatu face at WrestleMania 41.
With The Samoan Werewolf impressing the fans ever since his arrival, fans are hoping that Fatu will be featured on the card in a marquee match in what will also be his first appearance at the event. Following Fatu’s star-making performance against fellow monster Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the SmackDown stars are scheduled to clash once more on the March 21st SmackDown, which will air live in Bologna, Italy.
As Fatu and Strowman’s first match ended in DQ, there is a strong chance that the rivalry could blow off in Las Vegas in a battle of the big men. However, when asked about Fatu, Hall of Famer Rikishi had a different match he wanted to see.
Speaking about Fatu on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi hopes that Fatu’s opponent will be Solo Sikoa:
“In a way, they don’t mention it [The Bloodline] that much, but as long as The Rock and you see Roman Reigns still in there, you see Solo, you see Jey, Jimmy, Trinity, Bloodline’s still there. I don’t think it’ll ever go away, but if in case there is some type of storyline that just happens to come up, I would love to, not even writing this storyline, but I would love to see Solo [Sikoa] go up against Jacob Fatu at ‘Mania.
It’s something about those two and the drama that they’re going through, with what we’ve been seeing lately, I really feel that could be…I’m always thinking about the fans. What would the fans want to see? Do the fans want to see Jacob Fatu versus Braun Strowman? Or would we rather see Jacob Fatu versus Solo Sikoa? So for me, speaking like a fan, I prefer to probably see family versus family go at it,”
Uncertainty Remains On Jacob Fatu Plans
Although only 4 matches have been made official for WrestleMania 41 at the time of writing, current storylines have given fans a good indication of bouts that will be confirmed in the coming weeks. However, when it comes to Jacob Fatu, there are still conflicting reports.
In other news, a top UFC star has pitched a WWE crossover match featuring Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
