WWE Hall of Famer Mike Tyson will step inside a boxing ring once again as he is set to battle a legendary figure.
Tyson’s last wore his gloves on November 15, 2024, against pro boxer and influencer Jake Paul, the younger brother of current WWE Superstar Logan Paul. They fought at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which was aired worldwide on Netflix. Paul defeated Tyson in a unanimous decision (79-73, 80-72, 79-73) in a fight that was highly criticized due to the competitors having a huge age difference and allegedly being staged.
Nine months after his last match, The Baddest Man on the Planet confirmed on X (Twitter) that he will return to boxing in 2026. The 2012 WWE Hall of Famer will face fellow legend and undefeated pound-for-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a special exhibition.
The fight is signed between the 59-year-old’s Mike Tyson Promotions and the 48-year-old’s Mayweather Promotions. The exact venue and date of the fight are yet to be officially announced. However, as per the poster, it will take place sometime in 2026 and is being touted as Legend vs Legend.

Mayweather Jr last fought against UFC legend Conor McGregor on August 26, 2017, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pretty Boy defeated The Notorious in Round 10 of the 12-round bout via technical knockout (TKO) to claim his 50th professional win and stay unbeaten.
A couple of WWE Hall of Famers had differing opinions on the Mike Tyson – Jake Paul fight
The Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight was met with skepticism, with some alleging that it was just staged and, worse, fixed. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was one on the same boat as he believed the fight was “70-75% scripted.”

Meanwhile, Goldberg looked at the bout from a professional and athletic standpoint, saying the bout wasn’t scripted and that age has just caught up to The Baddest Man on the Planet despite trying his best.
The WWE Hall of Famer added that Tyson wanted to knock Paul out to exceed his own expectations, but ultimately noted there’s only so much that the 59-year-old can do.
