WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley Clears The Air On Cactus Jack And Travis Scott

Contrary to what some fans may think, there is no animosity between Mick Foley and Travis Scott.

Known for portraying multiple personas during his time in WWE, most notably in the 1998 Royal Rumble when he entered the match 3 times, Foley found success as Dude Love, Mankind and Cactus Jack. While many wrestling fans have fond memories of Cactus Jack, Scott has taken on the name as part of his own branding.

With Cactus Jack the name of Scott’s record label and used in multiple collaborations, does Foley have any issue with the name he helped popularise being used by the rapper?

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Foley was asked about the name being used by Scott:

“As far as I’m concerned, if someone wants to Google Cactus Jack and Travis’s name is gonna come up first, mine is gonna be right behind that. I don’t mind. I know a lot of people do, but I don’t mind when I see the mandible claw being used on TV when other wrestlers do mind. I don’t mind if Travis Scott wants to bring a little more love to the name Cactus Jack because it trickles down to me eventually. It’s a big compliment. I know for the record he’s got to say he named Cactus Jack after his dad too [winks], ok Travis, if that’s what you want us to believe.”

In recent news, the backstage reaction to Travis Scott “lighting up” on the Raw Netflix premiere has been revealed.

Mick Foley Comments On Travis Scott Being Awarded WWE Championship

At a recent Travis Scott concert, Triple H made an appearance onstage and confirmed that the rap star would be a special guest for the first episode of Raw on Netflix and presented Scott with a Hardcore Championship. When asked about this, Foley joked that they were working an angle without telling him.

Mick Foley filed to trademark Cactus Jack in 2022, but this filing was abandoned in December 2023. The trademark was previously held by WWE, who raised objections in 2018 when Scott first applied for it.

Also in the interview, Mick Foley gave an unlikely answer when asked who his Tribal Chief was.
