A WWE Hall of Famer wants to see The Rock more involved in storylines in 2025 and has pitched an interesting scenario for The Final Boss.
Even though plans are already being put in place for the 2025 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 41 behind the scenes, the Hollywood star’s status for the next year remains up in the air and could drastically change some of the biggest storylines in WWE. With Rock confronting Cody Rhodes both on the Raw after Mania and at Bad Blood, it’s clear that The Final Boss has unfinished business with The American Nightmare and potentially Roman Reigns following The OTC’s face turn.
While Rock’s involvement on TV looks to remain a mystery until further notice, Hall of Famer Mark Henry would like to see The Great One live up to his moniker once more.
Discussing a possible Rock return on Busted Open Radio, Henry believes that the former World Champion will return to assert himself as the one true leader of The Bloodline:
“Guys, I really do think that this is the year that The Rock tries to insert himself as not only The Tribal Chief but the High Chief. I think that it would be great that Solo, Roman, all of The Usos, and all of the Fatus, all of the Tongans together would join and do something like a takeover. It would have to be as heels. It would make the rest of the wrestling world babyfaces.”
Henry also noted that as part of his pitch he would have the entire Bloodline united as opposed to there being any animosity:
“At the end, you have to have guys do what they’re told to do, or do what they’re kind of led and pushed toward doing. Nonetheless, it would be interesting in pro wrestling to have that dynamic like that where you have a Vince McMahon boss-type character … and it’s been a long time since we’ve had that in pro wrestling.”
The Rock Continues To Make History
In what has been a major year for Rock in WWE, The People’s Champion was named a member of the Board of Directors in January and made his in-ring return at WrestleMania 40. Achieving success outside of the squared circle, The Rock also picked up another impressive accolade.
