WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash revealed which version of Kane stood out as his favourite.
Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash highlighted the late-1999 iteration of Kane, particularly when the character used a voice box to speak and joined D-Generation-X.
When Kane was talking through that voice box and he said a few things, I think that was such an over Kane. And that’s by far my favourite edition of Glenn was when he shot the fu**ing lightning or thunder out of his hands.
Kane’s use of the voice box added a unique dimension to the character, making the “Big Red Machine” stand out even more during this period. Nash praised the combination of Kane’s menacing abilities and the creative elements of his persona, such as his supernatural powers. Nash also reflected on how Kane’s transformation into a speaking character made him more relatable. The transition allowed fans to see a new side of Glenn Jacobs, the man behind the mask, showcasing Kane’s intelligence and articulate nature.
