WWE Hall Of Famer Highly Unlikely To Have One More Match

WWE Hall of Famer Kane has admitted that a return to the ring looks to be extremely doubtful.

The former World Champion debuted all the way back in 1992 under the name Angus King, competing for the promotion Central States Wrestling Association. Signing with WWE in 1995, the Hall of Famer would portray a number of personas including Isaac Yankem and fake Diesel.

1997 would see the real-life Glenn Jacobs repackaged as The Big Red Machine, ripping the door off the Hell in a Cell structure at Badd Blood to confront The Undertaker and allow Shawn Michaels to win the match. Many would regard the repackage and the debut as one of the best in professional wrestling history.

Remaining with the company, Kane would win multiple championships before winding down his career in 2018, ending his full-time career at Crown Jewel where he and The Undertaker would lose to Shawn Michaels and Triple H. The former World Champion would compete one more time in 2021 as part of the Royal Rumble match.

Although now a Hall of Famer, Kane has never explicitly stated whether or not his in-ring career is over. Speaking with David Gornoski, The Big Red Machine admitted that one more match is unlikely but not impossible:

“I am probably not getting in the ring. I watch it now and I’m amazed at how athletic everybody is. I don’t think my body can take that kind of punishment anymore, you know? We always say never say never. So I leave the door open to many different things,”

WWE Hall Of Famer Receives Bizarre Shout Out

In recent years, Jacobs has concentrated on his political career, where he serves as the Mayor of Knox County in Tennessee. During a recent campaign speech, Kane was referenced in a bizarre speech by former US President Donald Trump.
