Another WWE Hall of Famer is full of praise for Chelsea Green.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14th, Chelsea Green defeated Michin to become the first-ever Women’s United States Champion, a decision widely praised by fans and legends alike. Speaking on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T added to the adulation for Green, saying she deserves the accolade as she’s worked hard and done everything she’s asked to the best of her ability.
“You just hit it on the head. She deserves it. It goes back to that saying, do the job, and do the job to the best of your ability until something else comes along. That’s what Chelsea’s been doing. She’s just been going out, doing the job every single night, to the best of her ability, win or lose. It hasn’t been about that. It’s been about her going out and performing at the highest level she possibly could every single night.”
Booker T Wants Other Stars To Follow Chelsea Green’s Example
Continuing, the Hall of Famer pointed out that Green is a great example of knowing how to add to WWE’s overall presentation whether she’s at the top of the card or not.
“If everybody adopted that same sentiment, they would put themselves in a better place, they would put themselves in a better position to win, more importantly than anything. That’s what this business is about. Everybody can’t be on top at the same time. But if you’re doing your job, you’re putting yourself in a position to perhaps one day be on top. That’s the only thing you can really ask for.”
In 2025, Chelsea Green has called out another famous face.
