Bully Ray has claimed that Logan Paul should be the man to win the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ray asked co-host Tommy Dreamer whether the WWE Universe was ready for Paul to win because “business dictates that he should.”
Dreamer went on to praise the YouTube star for his return and promo on the June 19th episode of Raw, commenting that because he’s not a wrestler, his promo was slightly different in style.
“It was different, and it wasn’t a wrestler-esque promo. You know why? He’s not a wrestler yet, but he does one hell of a good job. He’s probably had the greatest celebrity bringing into WWE match of all time. He continues to deliver.”
Dave Meltzer Tips Logan Paul For WWE Glory
Bully Ray’s comments come after the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer said that Logan Paul should be the man to triumph in London. While Meltzer admitted that he’s unsure whether WWE will actually book Paul to win, he believes that due to his mainstream appeal, he should, before going on to face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title.
“I think Logan Paul should win the match. I don’t know that he’ll win, but I think he should. I think it would be a lot of publicity if he won. And the other thing about that is that I think the briefcase gets so annoying when it’s there week after week. But if it’s there every now and then, I think it’s pretty cool … They could have Logan Paul do it and even beat Seth [Rollins] at some point [for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship] and [then] come in and lose it or whatever.”
Logan Paul has wrestled twice in 2023, competing in the Royal Rumble match before being defeated by Rollins at WrestleMania 39.
