WWE Hall Of Famer Calls For The Bloodline To Undergo Major Change

A WWE Hall of Famer is open to having The Bloodline undergo a shake-up with some new additions.

Originally comprised of Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and The Usos, the faction has gone through multiple iterations with the likes of Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu all being part of the group since its inception.

Although The Bloodline has been an all-male group since its inception, fans have often fantasy booked members of the women’s division becoming a part of the storyline given their connections to The Anoa’i Family.

When asked about the possibility on his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi noted that fans are still interested in the group and new members could be added:

“Why not? It hasn’t been formed, and it’s always been surfacing here and there. But I think it’s good for business. Because the Bloodline is not only men in the family. You know, we got females in this family and females that can work, females that can draw, females that can carry the ball. So at the end of the day, Bloodline is the timeline. It’s still the timeline, still drawing.

You can break everybody up and put them certain ways. And you got Jey [Uso] going off on his own with the [World] Heavyweight belt now, you got Jacob [Fatu with the] US title; you got Roman [Reigns] doing his thing, everybody backstabbing him. Especially that no-good wise man [Paul Heyman]. But he’s got his coming. I guarantee you, with what’s happening with Roman right now, Roman ain’t just sitting; Roman [is] plotting right now.”

Continuing, Rikishi added that it might be time for an all-women’s Bloodline:

“So to answer your question, [regarding a] Bloodline with the females in our family—the true ones that are really connected to this blood—I think it’s time to form the Women’s Bloodline and let them step up to the game and stand on business of what we do, as far as putting the ladies up on the marquee.”

WWE Star Gets Critical On Women’s Booking

While many male stars are able to perform at a high level into their 40s and even their 50s, the stars of the women’s division are rarely offered the same opportunity. Speaking after WWE Backlash, Big E criticised how some members of the women’s roster are booked.

In other news, despite being released from the company, Braun Strowman is set to star in a new WWE series.
