WWE Hall Of Famer Believes This WrestleMania 41 Moment Could Be “Good Revenue For TKO”

WWE Jey Uso

WWE Hall of Famer wants to see this particular moment at WrestleMania 41.

Last year, Jey and Jimmy Uso faced off against each other at Mania 40, in a rather disappointing match. However, since then, the two brothers have pursued their paths but also made up for their past differences.

This year, Jey Uso is on his way to face Gunther for the World Championship in Las Vegas. At the same time, his brother Jimmy Uso remains a favorite to compete for LA Knight’s United States Champion at the upcoming Mania.

Discussing the opportunity of watching both his sons win gold at Mania 41, their Hall of Famer father Rikishi shared his thoughts on the ‘Off The Top podcast‘.

“That would be a beautiful photo op. You got Jey with the belt from Gunther, then you got Jimmy with the US belt. That’s a great photo, man. That’s good revenue for WWE/TKO. That’s another accomplishment for the boys that they can add on to the many things that they’ve done in the business of professional wrestling for 17 years. But I really can’t tell it, man. For me, I’m just grateful that the boys are involved in the biggest show in the world, to be able to be featured on that.

We know that Jey is going to be there. We don’t know if Jimmy is going to be there. Everything can change. We all got faith for the good guys. But at the end of the day, this is professional wrestling, this is the WWE. Anything can happen. Things can change between Gunther and Jey. There’s so much stuff that can happen in between. One, all these guys gotta stay healthy because without these guys being healthy, that match that was booked and advertised, it possibly can’t go on, god forbid somebody has a broken-up knee or a torn shoulder and is unable to perform.

We hope it never gets to that. But these are the things that are reality in professional wrestling. I’m so looking forward for this match with Jey and Gunther. I’m not knocking Gunther when I say this. Gunther, just be ready. Be ready for the whole Allegiant Stadium to come down when that boy hits the ring. Let’s just hope that that match takes off. I’m gonna pray for both parties. I’m gonna pray that Jey is healthy, at his best, at his top-shop shape, and I’m going to pray for Gunther the same way.”

The last time both the brothers were seen together at the Grandest Stage of them all was during WrestleMania 39.

Recently, Jey Uso also competed in this first-ever match in the promotion in over 600-days.

WWE Star Jey Uso Addresses In-Ring Work Criticisms

Recently speaking on the latest edition of the Raw Recap podcast, Jey Uso addressed the criticisms regarding his in-ring work.

“They gonna pick me apart right now Uce because I’m in this position. ‘He can’t do this, he got three moves.’ If we really want to be honest, there’s a whole bunch of dope wrestlers way better than me, but they’re not at the top. They got 20 moves, and y’all can do all that, but they not in my position. It’s a different game up here.

But y’all watched me learn, y’all watched my best work, my best craft, the whole way. Y’all still see it now. You’ll see glimpses of it now when I cut the promos. That’s all me, Uce. That is 100 percent, no scripted, tell me talk about WrestleMania, I’m gonna talk about WrestleMania.”
