A wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer has detailed their ongoing health battles, revealing they are set to undergo a partial amputation.

Superstar Billy Graham was a mainstay of the American wrestling scene throughout the seventies and eighties. In 1977 he ended the second legendary reign of fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Bruno Sammartino as WWWF Champion, holding the title for over nine months before losing the belt to Bob Backlund.

In later years, Graham has been a controversial figure, going so far as to launch his own lawsuit against Vince McMahon against the backdrop of the steroid trial in the early nineties. Despite this, Superstar Billy Graham took his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2004.

Taking to his Facebook page, Graham revealed some bad news about his health, explaining that he is going to have to undergo a partial amputation of his toes:

“Health Issues

“Hi fans, nice shot here while working in Japan for you, enjoy. I have some infections in a few toes and my Mayo Clinic surgeon must do some partial amputations. This is going to take some time to recover from so I will be offline for a while. If you good folks out there have any photos or thoughts you would like to put up in the meantime my FB is open for business.

“I just won’t be responding for the next 2 or 3 weeks, I have to heal up in between surgeries and it takes full concentration. Catch up with you all a little further down the line. Superstar Billy Graham”

Everyone at Inside The Ropes sends their best wishes to Superstar Billy Graham for a full and speedy recovery.
