WWE has revealed that a whole week of action will take place in and around Dallas ahead of WrestleMania 38 with a major NXT show as well as the Hall Of Fame show confirmed.
The company is calling the week leading up to WrestleMania 38 “The most stupendous WrestleMania week” and it’s hard to argue with action taking place nearly non-stop until The Show of Shows.
Dallas Morning News broke the story that Raw, SmackDown, WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, and NXT Stand & Deliver will all take place the week of WrestleMania which occurs over two nights on the 2nd and 3rd of April.
WWE.com is suggesting that Raw before WrestleMania will take place in The Lone Star state but makes no mention of the Raw after Mania that also traditionally takes place in the same city as the entertainment spectacular.
A Superstore Axxess event is also touted as taking place with fans getting the chance to see exhibits and perhaps meet their favourite Superstars in what is one of the key parts of WrestleMania week.
No dates or venues have been confirmed for the events around WrestleMania 38 but WWE has said they will all take place in the “Dallas area.”
Ahead of WrestleMania 37 in 2021, NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver took place over two nights on the Wednesday and Thursday before the big event. On those nights, the action took place in the Capitol Wrestling Center inside the WWE Performance Center, so this could mark the first time that NXT leaves the Performance Center for a show since the pandemic started.
It will also mark the first WrestleMania week for the NXT 2.0 brand, led by their NXT Champion Bron Breakker and an almost unrecognisable roster from when Stand & Deliver took place in 2021 still under the TakeOver banner.
The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony for both the 2020 & 2021 inductions was pre-taped in 2021 and both ceremonies aired on Friday, April 6th. 2022’s ceremony could very well be the first WWE Hall Of Fame that fans will be able to attend in 3 years.
