WWE Files Trademarks For 2 New Superstar Names

WWE recently filed two new trademarks for superstar names.

As per the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Stamford-based wrestling promotion has filed to trademark two new WWE superstar names. The filing states that the promotion intends to use these trademarks for “entertainment” purposes.

On Tuesday, September 10th, two trademark names for ‘Niko Vance’ and ‘Kali Armstrong’ were filed by WWE with the USPTO. The names are for former track star Destinee Brown and Niko Vance. The two upcoming stars wrestled on the September 10th tapings of NXT Level Up.

The filings were followed by the following descriptions:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network;

Providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members;

Organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Kali Armstrong Flaunts Her New WWE Name

Track athlete Destinee Brown recently took to X (Twitter) to flaunt her new WWE name and gimmick. The upcoming promising star reintroduced herself to her fans and promoted her upcoming debut.

ALLOW ME TO REINTRODUCE MYSLEF! My name is Kali Armstrong! WWE Superstar! My debut match on LevelUp will air next Friday, September 20th on Peacock at 10pm EST/ 7pm PST! Whose ready to take this journey with me!”

Armstrong and Niko Vance’s matches are scheduled to air next Friday, September 20th.
