As per Fightful, WWE filed for the trademark ‘Hardy Bros’ on December 23, cementing the long term alliance of Riddle and Jeff Hardy.

The hint was dropped several weeks ago on Monday Night Raw that the pair would have dealings for the foreseeable future when Riddle saved Jeff Hardy from an attack by The Hurt Business. This was preceded by a backstage segment where the former NXT star suggested the designation to Hardy,

WWE filed for the trademark under ‘Entertainment Services’ only, covering any and all wrestling exhibitions and performances. The filing description read:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

On the December 21 edition on Monday Night Raw, The Hardy Bros fell in a valiant battle to The Hurt Business in a bout for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships.

The Hardy Bros won’t be the first tag team Riddle has leant his unique catchphrase to. Earlier this year, he teamed with ‘The Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne to win the Dusty Tag Team Classic and the NXT Tag Team Championships under the label, The BroserWeights.
