WWE Files To Trademark ‘Legend Killer’

As per Fightful. WWE filed to trademark the moniker ‘Legend Killer’ on November 18.

Making the filing for entertainment purposes according to the filing description which can be seen below, the nickname was first given to Randy Orton in the mid-noughties when he began to take aim at various wrestling luminaries.

‘The Legend Killer’ carried Randy Orton to several world, tag team and Intercontinental Championship reigns before he left behind the stars of yesteryear and became the much more cunning ‘Viper.’

The filing description read:

The filing comes after WWE sought the rights to the designations of other stars. Recently, the company filed to trademark ‘The Big Dog’, ‘The Queen’ and ‘The Goddess’, names previously given to Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss respectively.
