As per Fightful, WWE have filed for the trademarks of even more NXT UK talent. These include Nina Samuels, Aleah James and the incoming Rampage Brown.
The filings, which were made on October 27, curiously do not include ‘The Nina Samuels Show’ which is the storyline brand the female NXT UK star currently plies her trade under.
A description for the three trademarks read as follows:
International Class 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.
Currently on NXT UK, Nina Samuels has been locked in a mini-feud with the talented Amale following a tag team bout on October 8. In a clash against Xia Brookside and Dani Luna, Samuels walked out on her partner after miscommunication and ego got the better of her.
Two weeks later on the October 22 edition of the black and red brand, Samuels and Amale did battle to settle their differences in a match the leading lady of ‘The Nina Samuels Show’ won.
On the October 29 episode of NXT UK which saw Walter retain his NXT UK Championship in a stunning war with Ilja Dragunov, it was announced that Rampage Brown was coming to the brand soon.
Single and tag team specialist with the likes of Tyson T-Bone (Team Single) and Ashton Smith (POD), Brown is a former two time ICW Tag Team Champion, two time PCW Tag Team Champion, World of Sport Champion, two time Defiant World Champion and Progress World Heavyweight Champion.
Though she has yet to appear on the relaunch of NXT UK, it was reported on August 26 that Aleah James had reported to the NXT UK Performance Centre. She is known for her time with Riptide Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling: EVE and Revolution Pro Wrestling to name a few.
