WWE File Trademark For ‘Friendship Frog’

Friendship Frog Thumb

As per Fightful, WWE filed for the trademark, ‘Friendship Frog’, on November 25.

Friendship Frog was the amphibian character that made its one and only appearance on WWE television during a Firefly Funhouse segment on November 24. Unfortunately, the character also made their final hop on the show and was killed off in its debut angle.

According to the filing, WWE require the trademark for entertainment and clothing services in order that, at a later date, it may produce shirts, hats and even integrate the name into performances and exhibitions.

The filing read:

Recently, Firefly Funhouse host ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt has been involved in a rivalry with former WWE Champion, Randy Orton. While it was Wyatt who seemed to have the upper hand in the rivalry with his mind games, ‘The Viper’ seemed to find a chink in the entity’s armour.

During the November 30 edition of Monday Night Raw, Orton slithered his way into Wyatt’s conscience by taking aim at Alexa Bliss who seems to be the one and only weak spot the creature has.
