WWE fans have seemingly done a quick 180 and have turned on Brock Lesnar.
Last weekend, fans were left stunned as Brock Lesnar made his emphatic return to WWE. The Beast came out at the end of Night Two of SummerSlam, to a massive pop. However, it has only taken a week for things to change.
On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the fans in Montreal, Quebec, booed Lesnar. This occurred after John Cena mentioned the 48-year-old’s name during the show’s opening segment.
Cena revealed that he was afraid of Brock Lesnar, but that he was one who, despite his fear, would not back down from a fight. This response from the Last Real Champion received loud cheers from the fans in attendance, clearly indicating whose side they were on.

WWE’s decision to bring back Lesnar has been put under the microscope ever since his music hit at SummerSlam. Now, it will be interesting to see just what happens once the two superstars step into the ring.
Brock Lesnar is a key figure in the Janel Grant case
One of the reasons why Brock Lesnar’s return has been deemed controversial is his involvement in a high-profile case. The case in question is the highly publicised lawsuit filed by former WWE employee, Janel Grant.
Grant has brought up serious allegations not just against Lesnar, but also against the Stamford-based promotion and its former chairman, Vince McMahon. It is a huge case that the world is paying close attention to, especially considering the seriousness of the allegations.
After all, the case has to do with both sexual assault and trafficking. So, taking this into consideration, it is understandable why his return has come with a lot of skepticism.
