Charlotte Flair and a former champion’s performance on SmackDown received an interesting comment from a WWE Hall of Famer.
Last weekend, during the first night of SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day for the Women’s Tag Team Champions. This week’s Friday Night SmackDown marked the first time fans saw the new champions in the flesh, and The Queen shockingly had something prepared.
The recent WWE SmackDown wasn’t just the duo’s first appearance on the brand as champions, but also marked Alexa’s 34th birthday. In the ring, Charlotte revealed that she had prepared a cake to celebrate her partner’s day and their time as champions. However, the cake read “Congratulations Charlotte Flair!” in big letters, then in small letters, “& Alexa Bliss,” and below it, “P.S. Happy Birthday.”
Although the cake was received with mixed reactions by her partner, Flair managed to turn it around by gifting Bliss a Lilly doll wearing a “We’re Not Friends” shirt and then a returning Charly doll wearing the same merchandise. The latter doll was gifted to Charlotte by Alexa in 2021.
However, the celebration was cut short by Chelsea Green and the rest of The Secret Hervice, who stated that she should be celebrated instead, as they were in Canada. When Charlotte revealed that she was planning to take on the former Women’s United States Champion, the latter started to run away, but Nick Aldis made the match official.
Happy Birthday, @AlexaBliss_WWE! 🎂@MsCharlotteWWE really went out of the way for someone who ISN'T a friend… 😂 pic.twitter.com/vXaUcmmGwe

Mark Henry Wasn’t Happy With Charlotte Flair And Chelsea Green Involving The Cake During Their SmackDown Match
At the end of Chelsea and Charlotte’s match on SmackDown, Green asked Alba Fyre and Piper Niven to bring the cake into the ring to somehow utilize it against Flair. However, Alexa taking out The Secret Hervice outside the ring distracted the former Women’s US Champion, causing The Queen to capitalize and slam her opponent’s face into the cake.
Charlotte and Alexa went home happy, along with the rest of the fans, but one name that wasn’t in the best mood was Mark Henry. In a hilarious post on X (Twitter), the WWE Hall of Famer joked that he was disappointed with The Queen and the Canadian for ruining the cake. You can check the actual tweet here.
I am so disappointed right now in Chelsea Green and Charlotte Flair for ruining a perfectly good cake [cake emoji] bull s**t….”
