Vince McMahon

Doctor Sues Lawyer Representing Janel Grant in Vince McMahon Lawsuit

WWE Hall Of Famer Explains Why Vince McMahon Did Them A Favour With Screwjob

A doctor named in Janel Grant’s high-profile lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE has filed his own legal action—this time targeting Grant’s attorney.

Dr. Carlon Colker, who was identified in a pre-action discovery petition filed in July 2024 by Grant’s legal team, is suing attorney Ann Callis and the Holland Law Firm, accusing them of making false public statements about his involvement in the scandal.

The original petition claimed Grant was sent by McMahon to Colker’s Peak Wellness clinic in 2019 and given undisclosed treatments, a claim Colker vehemently denies.

As reported by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Colker’s May 2, 2025 lawsuit asserts that all requested medical records were provided and that the patient, referred to as Grant, stopped treatment in April 2022 “without any indication of dissatisfaction or concern.”

The lawsuit includes a detailed rebuttal:

“At no point was Patient forced to undergo intravenous infusions… administered unknown substances… or directed to take unlabeled drugs.”

The filing also states Colker never personally administered injections. Grant’s lawsuit against WWE, which includes allegations of sexual assault and trafficking, remains active, while both McMahon and Laurinaitis continue to deny any wrongdoing.

Darby Allin

Darby Allin Sets Bonkers World Record

AEW star Darby Allin has made history during his ambitious expedition up Mount Everest by landing a kickflip at Camp Two, a staggering 20,958 feet above sea level—the highest elevation at which the skateboarding trick has ever been recorded.

Known for pushing boundaries, both in and out of the ring, Allin shared the feat on Instagram as part of his ongoing journey up the world’s tallest peak.

Climbing in AEW-branded gear and vowing to plant the company’s flag at the summit, the former TNT Champion is already past the halfway point of his climb.

Though the dangers of Everest are well-documented, with over 340 fatalities and many bodies unrecovered, Allin’s already-legendary stunt has ensured that his trip is one for the history books—regardless of whether he reaches the top.

Alberto Del Rio

WWE Re-Signs Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio

In the wake of WWE’s reported acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a wave of top AAA stars are said to have signed with WWE, including the controversial return of former World Champion Alberto El Patron (fka Alberto Del Rio).

According to Super Luchas Editor-in-Chief Ernesto Ocamo, the list of signees also includes Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Hijo del Vikingo, La Parka, La Hiedra, Lady Flammer, Lady Maravilla, and Niño Hamburguesa, as WWE begins reshaping AAA’s roster under its expanding global footprint.

While El Patron is expected to continue appearing in AAA, his status on WWE programming remains unclear—though the signing is significant given his past legal issues and the belief they had closed the door on any return.

The former WWE Champion, who left the company in 2016, was previously banned from wrestling in Tijuana for six months after a violent incident involving a fan during a show, where he reportedly threw a chair into the crowd, injuring a woman.

WWE’s influence is already visible in AAA events, most notably with Rey Mysterio opening the first show under the new ownership, as the acquisition nears finalisation later this year.

Recently Released WWE Stars Accused Of Being Lazy

Cora Jade

Following WWE’s latest wave of releases on May 2, which included 17 on-screen talents and several behind-the-scenes staff, new details have emerged suggesting performance and effort behind the scenes played a significant role in some departures.

Among the most notable exits was Christine Lubrano, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations, who had reported directly to Bruce Prichard and Paul Levesque since joining the company in 2021.

The list also featured surprise NXT cuts like Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, and Eddie Thorpe, along with main roster names such as Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai, and Braun Strowman.

While some of the released stars, including Jade and Kai, have since shared their intentions to continue wrestling, others may have fallen out of favour due to lack of effort.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed:

“Many of those cut were perceived as not working hard in training… I saw the term ‘lazy.’ The ones who are lazy are gonna be gone, and the ones who didn’t stand out are gonna be gone.”

Cora Jade and Gigi Dolin have both taken to social media to reject the claims made by Dave Meltzer.

Eric Bischoff

AEW Praised For 'Smart' Business Move

AEW Set For Multi-Week Residency At Legendary Wrestling Venue

Eric Bischoff has praised AEW’s decision to hold a series of shows at Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena, describing it as both “prudent” and “a smart move” during a recent episode of his 83 Weeks podcast.

The Hall of Famer pointed to the cost and production efficiencies of staging multiple events in one location, and noted AEW could benefit from tapping into the venue’s ECW-era nostalgia.

“There’s also just the efficiencies, production efficiencies, cost efficiencies of not transporting stuff all over the country every week,”

Bischoff said, adding that while the move is financially sound, it comes with creative risks.

“Do I think it’s risky… a little bit, because… people are going to compare you [to ECW]… If you can do a good job of that, it can be great and also backfire.” [h/t WrestlingNewsCo]

Steve Austin

Steve Austin Didn't Watch WrestleMania 41 Main Event

Why Steve Austin Is Not Sold On Recent WWE Announcement

Stone Cold Steve Austin may have appeared at WrestleMania 41, but the WWE icon didn’t stick around for the show’s biggest match.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame for the second time — this time alongside Bret Hart for their legendary WrestleMania 13 bout — Austin also appeared on night two to announce the official attendance, but not before crashing his quad bike into the barrier and seemingly injuring a woman in the front row.

Despite speculation that he might get involved in the Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena main event, Austin disappeared from the event entirely after his brief appearance, joining The Rock among the notable no-shows during the headline bout.

Speaking to The Ariel Helwani Show, Austin admitted he didn’t even stick around to watch the match:

“I didn’t see it,” he said, before adding, “No, I just wanted to beat the crowd. I haven’t watched it back.” (h/t Fightful)

Cora Jade

WWE Embroiled In Body Shaming Allegations

Cora Jade making her entrance on WWE NXT

Following her release from WWE on May 2, former NXT star Gigi Dolin has spoken out against claims that some of the recently cut talent were considered “lazy,” taking to social media to defend her work ethic.

“When I wasn’t traveling to work for either of the two companies I was working for, I trained very hard 3-4 days a week, bumping my ass off and doing cardio drills with one of the best/toughest coaches I’ve worked with,”

Dolin wrote on X (Twitter), pushing back on the notion that lack of effort played a role in her departure.

“So yeah I don’t wanna hear this lol. The way my body feels says otherwise.”

Fellow former NXT name Cora Jade soon joined the conversation, sharing her own frustrations from within WWE and revealing she was body shamed during her time with the company.

“Can’t forget having to go to my own gym outside of work after ‘strength and conditioning’ that wasn’t doing anything for me other than get me body shamed by my bosses, coworkers, and fans,”

Both women are currently serving their 30-day no-compete clauses and have made it clear that they reject the characterizations being circulated in the wake of WWE’s latest wave of releases.
