WWE have edited the controversial title exchange segment between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair on a SmackDown replay on FOX.

The segment is the talk of the wrestling world after reports emerged surrounding a heated argument between Lynch and Flair because of the unplanned way the exchange went down.

According to reports for PWInsider, which were then corroborated by Fightful and talkSPORT, the RAW Women’s Championship was not supposed to touch the floor.

Lynch was meant to grab both titles, hinting at a return of Becky Two Belts before tossing the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Flair.

Backstage Lynch apparently confronted Flair, who insisted the gaff was unintentional however, due to the Queen’s recent attitude behind the scenes very few people believed her.

The WWE locker room was said to be behind Lynch who branded her “a hero” for standing up to Flair, who has become “increasingly difficult to work with”.

To add further fuel to fires of controversy, WWE edited out the part of the segment where Flair drops the RAW title on an October 23rd replay of the show.

The controversial segment and its fallout created headlines throughout wrestling media with further reports claiming Flair was escorted from the building by security while Becky Lynch was competing in a Dark Match.
