The often discussed ‘Raw after WrestleMania’ came and went with few surprises and returns in 2023, but it appears that the WWE Draft could be about to shake things up.
The Raw following WrestleMania has been the launch pad for a number of returns and debuts down the years, but the night after WrestleMania 39 was criticised for being a little light in that department. Only Matt Riddle returned to action, and there were no call-ups from NXT.
However, it appears that there was some method to the madness.
Posting on his Twitter subscription feed, Bryan Alvarez noted that a number of debuts were held off so they could form part of the draft.
“It looks like some people who were supposed to debut right after Mania will appear in the draft instead”
It has long been rumoured that the likes of Cameron Grimes, Bron Breakker, and even NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes could be heading to the main roster very soon. In recent months Grimes has undergone an impressive body transformation as he seemingly prepares for life on the main roster.
Tyler Bate Reportedly Heading For Main Roster Call Up In The WWE Draft
Another name who could also be on the move in the WWE Draft is Tyler Bate. The former NXT UK United Kingdom Champion has long been pegged as a star of the future, and that future may be now. After impressing in a recent match on Main Event with Dolph Ziggler, it is believed that Bate could be set for a move to SmackDown or Raw.
