A unique event could debut over WWE WrestleMania weekend featuring a famous face in the world of American comedy.
Now much bigger than just Mania itself, the promotion takes over the host city for the whole week with branded events being presented in the lead-up to and after the 2-night show including tapings of SmackDown and Raw, the Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT Stand & Deliver. Additionally, meet and greets and panels now take place at the WWE World attraction, which debuted at Mania 40 and will return in 2025.
While the aforementioned shows are now to be expected each year at Mania, a new report has revealed that the promotion is considering a very off-the-wall show in Las Vegas. As reported by WrestleVotes, the company has discussed hosting a “Roast of WrestleMania” show which would feature comedian Tony Hinchcliffe:
According to a well-placed source, WWE has discussed an “outside-the-box” idea of running a post-WrestleMania event in Las Vegas on Sunday night, 4/20. We’re told the concept would be ‘The Roast of WrestleMania,’ featuring comedic megastar Tony Hinchcliffe.
