WWE recently denied a request to use a legendary AEW star’s theme song during an event.
WWE has been trying to distance itself from AEW as much as possible. The company reportedly did not want to feature AEW star MJF on the Happy Gilmore 2 trailers during RAW. Recently, KSI revealed that the company was also apprehensive about letting him use a current AEW star’s theme song.
WWE denied KSI’s request to use AEW star Christian Cage’s theme song
During a vlog/video, popular YouTuber and friend of Logan Paul, KSI, revealed that he requested WWE to let him use Christian’s WWE theme song. Christian is currently with AEW and has reached a legendary status in the promotion, while also being a legend in World Wrestling Entertainment. The star used some iconic themes during his time in with the promotion, including Take Over, possibly the one KSI was referring to.
The star stated that he requested the theme song, but his request was unfortunately turned down.
“I asked for Christian’s theme tune and they said no.”

Christian Cage is currently in charge of The Patriarchy in AEW and was rumored to be involved with Edge (Cope) in some capacity at All In in July. It remains to be seen how that pans out.
