After announcing two more matches for this year’s WrestleMania, which takes place this weekend, WWE deleted a tweet after seemingly spoiling an addition to the match.
WWE announced a Tag Team Turmoil for a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The teams confirmed during the RAW broadcast were Lana & Naomi, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, Liv Morgan & Ruby Riott, and Natalya & Tamina.
However, a now-deleted tweet from the official WrestleMania Twitter account also has Carmella & Billie Kay included despite them not featuring on the original poster. Just minutes later, the tweet was deleted.
WWE’s deleted the tweet now, but this graphic was tweeted out after the match announcement with only four teams but before the backstage segment whereby Billie Kay pitched herself for the match and said Carmella is still reviewing her resume.#WrestleManiapic.twitter.com/agPn1Sse6s

In the scene which followed, Billie Kay interrupted a backstage argument between the champions and the four confirmed challenging teams, before being informed she doesn’t have a partner and saying Carmella is still assessing her resume – part of an ongoing SmackDown storyline which looks likely to culminate in them teaming up at WrestleMania.
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against the Tag Team Turmoil winners from Night 1. The current champions will ride a wave of momentum into the event after defeating RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and her opponent at the Show of Shows, Rhea Ripley, on Monday Night RAW.
However, it’s worth noting that Ripley played a large part in the downfall of her team, attacking her tag team partner to allow Jax and Baszler to pick up the pieces for the win. The Tag Team Champions have also successfully defended against both Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in recent weeks, who clash for the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
