This October WWE will celebrate the silver anniversary of Kane’s debut.

Since his memorable debut at Badd Blood in October 1997, Kane (real name Glenn Jacobs) would go on to have an extensive career at the top.

The Big Red Machine had many famous battles with numerous stars throughout the years including the likes of Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and many many more. Most notable were his interactions both against and alongside his brother, The Undertaker. Either as rivals or as partners known as The Brothers Of Destruction, the two were key features in the WWE landscape.

The multi-time champion was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame n 2021. Now, 25 years later, WWE has dedicated the whole month of October to him:

Per WWE:

“To commemorate the silver anniversary of Kane’s debut, WWE will be celebrating The Big Red Monster in the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for special Kane-themed editions of WWE Top 10 and WWE Playlist, throwback videos of your favorite and most nightmare-inducing Kane moments, and much more! Don’t forget to join in the conversation on social media using the hashtag #Kane25”

The 55-year-old Republican was declared the winner in the mayoral race after defeating Democratic nominee Debbie Helsley. Having first been elected in 2018, Jacobs will now serve for a further four years.

Jacobs last wresting appearance came at the 2021 Royal Rumble, which was his first in three years.
