Latest Trademark Filing Hints At New WWE Show

WWE enacted a wave of staff cuts on Thursday, with multiple departments affected, including its creative division.

Among those let go was Christine Lubrano, who served as Senior Vice President of Creative Writing Operations. According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Lubrano was one of at least 10 to 12 employees released.

“The belief is at least 10-12 staffers were cut today, possibly more,” the report stated. “There were also cuts in several departments, including creative services, photography and more.”

Lubrano had been with WWE since January 2021. During her tenure, she oversaw strategic operations for the company’s creative division. The creative teams for Raw, SmackDown, and NXT reported to Lubrano and Bruce Prichard, who in turn reported to Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Prior to her role in WWE, Lubrano was a key executive at IFC, where she served as Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development.
