WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is the fourth instalment for the event that first appeared on the WWE calendar back in 2018. The card for the spectacular features huge championship matches, grudge matches and an appearance from Bray Wyatt.
In the main event Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Logan Paul in arguably the biggest match in WWE Crown Jewel history. A rivalry that began with almost a throwaway comment from the YouTube will come to a head in Saudi Arabia. Incredibly, the match will only be Logan Paul’s third inside a WWE ring. The star will be flanked by his brother Jake Paul, while Reigns as usual will be surrounded by The Bloodline.
Elsewhere, Bianca Belair will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Bayley in a Last Woman Standing Match. Belair has held the gold since WrestleMania, but Bayley pushed her all of the way the last time the two women met in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules.
Meanwhile, The Usos defend their Undisputed Tag Team Titles against the Brawling Brutes, Braun Strowman takes on fellow giant Omos and Brock Lesnar will got to war with Bobby Lashley after costing him the United States Championship on Monday Night Raw.
It has also been confirmed that AJ Styles will team with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows to take on Judgment Day in an effort to put to bed a rivalry that has spanned months. In the event’s other championship match, Alexa Bliss and Asuka put their newly won Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line against former champions Damage CTRL.
Finally, Karrion Krosss will meet Drew McIntyre in a Cage Match after a chaotic finish to their brutal Strap Match at Extreme Rules.
