A top superstar may be en route to a WWE return soon.
On the second night of WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and IYO SKY battled in an epic triple threat for the Women’s World Championship. The Genius of the Sky ended up walking away with the gold, but The EST of WWE also walked away with something: a broken finger.
The 36-year-old shared that due to the injury, she had to wear her wedding ring on her right hand, and it broke in two or three different spots. Fortunately for the WWE star, she updated that it was looking more like a real finger now and was healed, but won’t fully straighten just yet.
Despite the injury, The EST of WWE was present at the all-women’s premium live event, Evolution, this July, where she served as the guest referee between her two former tag team partners, Naomi and Jade Cargill, in a No Holds Barred match, which saw The Storm take home the victory.
However, it looks like the two-time WWE Women’s Champion is close to getting involved in the action again after the major premium live event this weekend in New Jersey.
Bianca Belair Might Return To WWE Competition As Soon As SummerSlam Wraps Up
According to WrestleVotes, Bianca Belair was “closing in” on a return and is expected to be medically cleared this upcoming week. The site added that she might return on August 9, the first SmackDown after SummerSlam. However, it should be noted that she is not expected to be cleared ahead of this weekend for The Biggest Party of the Summer.
SummerSlam 2025 will be historic as it will be the first two-night affair occurring on August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey.
