We’re now just hours away from WWE Clash At The Castle, live from Principality Stadium, and the official entranceway has been unveiled!
Excitement is rife ahead of WWE Clash At The Castle tonight, WWE’s first major UK stadium card since SummerSlam 1992. Brief glimpses have circulated over the last few days, showing an early look inside the Welsh stadium ahead of the evening’s proceedings but now, a better view has emerged.
Posted to Instagram by Finn Balor, a WrestleMania-length ramp has been brought out for the occasion, alongside a minimalist stage, almost harking back to the simplistic New Generation Era entranceways.
WWE has been lambasted in recent years for utilising the same stages for pay-per-views and premium live events that they use for weekly programming. As the company moves into hosting more events from stadiums, though, slightly altered stages have become a semi-normal aspect of WWE’s PLE schedule.
Clash At The Castle will be headlined by Drew McIntyre challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, with Drew keen to split the WWE and Universal Championships. Also on the bill is a meaty Intercontinental Championship fight between GUNTHER and Sheamus, and a potentially show-stealing six-woman tag team match.
The event is slated to begin at 6pm BST (1pm EST), with a Kickoff show airing an hour earlier. Fans can watch via Peacock in the United States, and on the WWE Network elsewhere.
