WWE has been hit with another injury, leading to a vital championship being vacated.
Recently, WWE has been dealing with a series of injuries to various superstars. While Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury earlier this week, it was followed up by SmackDown star Elton Prince, who also has been sidelined with an injury.
Now, almost a week later, NXT general manager Ava has announced NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar’s injury. Sharing the update on X(Twitter), the General Manager let fans know about Dar’s unfortunate incident and how the Heritage Cup Championship had been vacated as a result. She shared further details about the title’s future:
Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.
This Tuesday, Stacks with [sic] compete in a match to crown a new Heritage Cup Champion against an opponent to be named.”
A new NXT Heritage Cup Champion will be determined on the June 24 edition of NXT, when Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo takes on an unnamed opponent.

Recently, during an episode of the Busted Open After Dark podcast, WWE legend Tommy Dreamer shared a detailed insight into what might have caused Liv Morgan’s unfortunate injury.
The woman got hurt. It sucks. From someone who has separated a dislocated shoulder, the moment it happens, it takes the breath out of you. If you could tell right away she rolled out… she knew something was wrong with her body.”
“When she went down, her left leg was still up, almost like in a kneeling position, where her right leg was going flat… as that goes, if you’re falling forward, even at the easiest of imbalance, your shoulder is going to hyperextend. She wasn’t trying to stop her fall. She was just trying to go forward. And with that extension, it’s so easy to pop your shoulder and dislocate it.”
