WWE Champion Wants To “Steal The Show” At WrestleMania 41

WWE Title Match Not Planned For WrestleMania 41

A current WWE champion wants to achieve what Rhea Ripley did two years ago.

Already engaged in arguably one of the most heated WrestleMania feuds in the last few years, Tiffany Stratton finds herself against the veteran Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41. While Stratton is fixated on retaining her title and prestige, Flair is on the hunt for her 15th World title. Set to be a part of the Mania match card in almost one week, Stratton will share the stage with several other big names such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, and many more.

Recently speaking to Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun as part of the Onefall podcast, Stratton opened up about the pressure of being part of such a stacked card. Entering her first WrestleMania, Stratton hopes to repeat what Rhea Ripley did two years ago. The champion wants to “steal the show” against The Queen in Las Vegas.

“Yeah, obviously, there’s so many amazing matches. We have so many top stars that I feel like you can throw up a quarter and if it lands on heads or tails, you would believe whoever were to walk out winner of any of these matches. So, my plan is to go in and steal the show. I want people to remember the match, and I want my match to go down in history as one of the best women’s matches. Yeah, just ultimately steal the show like Charlotte did with Rhea [Ripley] two years ago. But yeah, there’s so many amazing matches, and I really want to stand out at this WrestleMania.”

Over the weekend, several reports emerged about the backstage reaction to Charlotte Flair and Stratton’s segments. However, in a new report by Fightful Select, more details about the Tiffany Stratton-Charlotte Flair promo wreck were shared.

WWE Star Tiffany Stratton Wants To Take Over Her ‘Idol’ Charlotte Flair’s Place

Speaking to Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun as part of the Onefall podcast,Tiffany Stratton claimed that she was here to take over Charlotte Flair’s place.

“Yeah, I think this match doesn’t even it doesn’t even start with the past six weeks. It doesn’t even start with her winning the Royal Rumble and her picking me. I think it starts with she’s the reason why I got into wrestling. She is who I looked up to, who I saw on my TV screen, who I idolized, and I had it already set in my mind that she is a dream match of mine, even before I got signed to WWE.

So this goes back much farther than that. She’s obviously one of my idols, and at WrestleMania, I think this is when I solidify that I am the new generation and and I’m here to take her place.”
