“There’s One More Match We Need To Have” – Former WWE Champion Wants One Last Match With Brock Lesnar

By James Holder. Published 22nd November 2022.
Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar continues to be one of the most dominant and physically imposing Superstars on the WWE roster. Despite this, there’s at least one rival who is desperate to get back in the ring with The Beast.

Bobby Lashley has gone toe-to-toe with Brock Lesnar twice in 2022, and amazingly he’s ready to do it one more time. The pair first met at the Royal Rumble where the All-Mighty scored the win thanks to an assist from Paul Heyman who turned his back on Lesnar to re-join Roman Reigns. After Lesnar took some time off after SummerSlam he returned to attack Lashley on Raw, setting up a match at WWE Crown Jewel. On this occasion, it was Lesnar who grabbed the win.

Bobby Lashley Wants To Meet Brock Lesnar One More Time

With both men now holding one win over the other, Bobby Lashley has called for a deciding bout to finally settle the score. During an interview with NBC Boston, Lashley said that they need to wrestle one more time.

“Winning a match wasn’t important to me in Saudi Arabia, it was beating him up. He won the 1-2-3, but he knows who Bobby is now and he felt the wrath. Nobody has seen Brock like that before, nobody has seen Brock groveling down on his back like looking up, passing out. Nobody has seen Brock like that, I made him like that. So I think it fit for what was needed and with that being said, there’s one more match that we need to have. He has one and I have one,”

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE television since the win over Lashley. While there’s no word on when he will be back in action, it appears to be unlikely that he will return before the end of 2022.

Since being defeated by Lesnar, Lashley cost Austin Theory his chance at the United States Championship, which resulted in his failed Money in the Bank cash-in. The star was most recently in action on the November 14th edition of Raw where he defeated Mustafa Ali.
