WWE Champion Describes Booker T’s Role In His Career: “So Helpful To Me”

Booker T Believes This WWE Scenario Will Never Happen Again

Booker T has been of great help to this current Champion in WWE.

NXT announcer and Hall of Famer, Booker T has enjoyed one of the most illustrious wrestling careers of all time. However, following his retirement, the former World Champion moved toward a more mentorship role.

The owner and founder of Reality Of Wrestling (ROW), the promotion has developed and launched several stars such as current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and AEW wrestler Bryan Keith. Umaga’s son Zilla Fatu is also currently a part of ROW.

The wrestling veteran has helped shape several wrestlers, and now NXT Champion Trick Williams shared his role in his career.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Williams opened up on working alongside Booker T, and how he helps him. He also shared how Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, and Terry Taylor also helped him improve.

He’s another guy who’s been just so helpful to me. We see the ad libs and everything he does with the entrance, but behind the scenes, we break down film. He says, ‘See that step right there? Get rid of that.’ We are talking about skill and why I’m getting better. It’s people like Booker T’s, people like Shawn Michaels, people like Matt Bloom and, of course, Terry Taylor, who I train with every day. But these guys definitely.”

That’s my uncle, Booker T, for all those who don’t know. He’s always been a good mentor to me. He treats me like family. I love Booker.”
