A three-time WWE Champion called out the company for being a “chaotic s*** show”.
Ronda Rousey is considered a trailblazer in women’s sports, especially in combat sports. The star was the first-ever Bantamweight Champion (women’s champion) in UFC and paved the way for a generation of fighters who wanted to showcase their talents. Rousey was also one of the very first women in wrestling to main event WrestleMania alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Very few in the industry have achieved as much as The Baddest Woman On The Planet, as her accolades put her amongst the legends in sports. Rousey not just dominated the WWE landscape when she first made the move in 2017, but also won three women’s titles and one tag team title along the way. Despite the success, though, the star is not happy with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Ronda Rousey Calls WWE A “Chaotic S*** Show”; Vows To Never Return
Speaking on Uncrowned, the former WWE Superstar did not hold back on the company. She stated that it was a “chaotic s*** show on the inside” and that she had no reason to return to the Stamford-based promotion.
It was a lot of needless anxiety and things like that. And the whole company was just a chaotic s*** show on the inside. And then they ended up dropping all my friends,” Rousey said, pointing to her former stablemates Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.
“So I really have no reason to go back. I wanted to do a run with the Four Horsewomen and I never got to do that. And now I feel like I’ve already accomplished everything that I wanted to in WWE and all that’s really left for me is to go there and have fun with my friends, and none of my friends are there anymore.”
It’s clear that Rousey harbors a lot of resentment toward the company for letting go of her friends and some former UFC stars. The most notable names out of the UFC stars that were released were Shayna Baszler, who also happened to be Rousey’s last opponent in WWE. The reference to the promotion being a “chaotic s*** show” clearly comes from her time working with Vince McMahon, when the latter was still the CEO and creative head.
Ronda Rousey talks about Marina Shafir coming into her own in AEW, credits Jon Moxley’s assistance in making it happen:
“Going from being like, ‘How do I do an arm drag,’ to being part of five-star matches and stuff like that, it’s really great to see her just having so much joy… pic.twitter.com/ENbhTtYPUS

With Triple H now in charge of creative things have reportedly changed a lot backstage. However, it was under The Game’s regime that Baszler was let go from the company. This could be one of the major reasons Ronda Rousey vows to never return to WWE. She also mentions later in the interview that having two kids also makes it impossible for her to be on the road. However, with AJ Lee’s return after a decade, one thing is for sure: in wrestling, all wounds eventually heal.
