Cody Rhodes has been recognised for his accomplishments by the CEO of Fanatics.
August 16th to 18th saw the first ever Fantics Fest take place in New York City with some of the biggest stars from the world of sports and entertainment present at the event. WWE’s impact over the course of the weekend was a dominating one with multiple meet-and-greets selling out due to overwhelming popularity and the stars of the squared circle being a bigger draw than icons from the world of NFL and NBA.
With the promotion once again experiencing a boom period, this has also been reflected in record-breaking merch sales, which Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin informed Rhodes he is largely responsible for.
Posting a video of their meeting on social media, Rhodes was informed by Rubin that he is the number one star driving business within the company as he is the top merchandise seller. Rubin also joked that The Rock and Logan Paul need to step up their game to compete with The American Nightmare.

Multiple reports have previously stated that Rhodes has been the number one merch seller at many live events over the course of the year, even selling more than top-selling company-branded merchandise and John Cena.
Cody Rhodes Comments On Roman Reigns Return
While the Undisputed Champion has been unrivalled as the top star in the company over the spring and summer, the return of Roman Reigns means that Rhodes now has a challenger in more ways than one. Speaking at Fanatics Fest, Cody Rhodes addressed having to share the spotlight with Roman Reigns.
