A current WWE Champion has their sights set on Logan Paul for a potential future match.
The only champion to win their title in 2023, Paul is the longest reigning current title holder and has the longest reign with the gold for over a decade, surpassing the previous record set by Austin Theory. While Paul has already become a champion and headlined multiple PLEs in his short in-ring career, one veteran wants to see what the hype is all about.
World Tag Team Champion Finn Balor recently spoke with IGN to promote SummerSlam and WWE 2K24. When asked about a potential dream match, Balor called out the United States Champion:
“I’m very curious to get in there and test myself against everyone, and someone who I haven’t been in there with is Logan Paul. I’ll be very curious to see what he’s all about. I’m into the hype. I respect what he’s done so far, and I would like to test him in the ring.”
Balor was also referenced later on in the video as Damian Priest named his Judgment Day ally as his own dream match.
Paul will defend the United States Championship at SummerSlam against LA Knight.
Logan Paul Potentially Facing Legal Troubles
On July 26th, the Summer Olympics officially began in Paris, France with the opening ceremony. To coincide with the event, Paul’s Prime drinks released a special edition version of the drink. However, due to trademark issues from the US Olympic Committee, Logan Paul’s drinks company has been sued.
