A wrestling legend has stated his willingness to become Roman Reigns’ new Wiseman after Paul Heyman’s betrayal.
Paul Heyman became Roman Reigns’s Wiseman in 2020. The unlikely allies achieved a lot of success together, with Reigns becoming the Universal Champion the very same year. Their alliance also brought about the formation of The Bloodline the following year, with the faction dominating every superstar in front of them, and skyrocketing The Tribal Chief to mainstream popularity.
However, their alliance ended at WrestleMania 41 when Heyman betrayed Reigns to side with Seth Rollins. They then recruited Bron Breakker and eventually Bronson Reed, once the latter returned from his long layoff. Although Reigns is back to being a solo star, another real-life Bloodline member is open to being his Wiseman if needed.
Rikishi Open To Managing Roman Reigns And A New Bloodline Lineup
In the latest episode of Rikishi Fatu’s Off the Top podcast, the former Intercontinental Champion shared that if a new Bloodline group consisting of Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Zilla Fatu was formed, he wouldn’t have any doubts about becoming their Wiseman.
The former two-time World Tag Team and one-time WWE Tag Team Champion also shared that he was always open to supporting his family in any way, but the alliance should be right and shouldn’t just happen randomly. He added that if it does happen, the fans should want it as well:
Like I said, anything I can do to be able to be there to support the family, you know? And it’s got to be right, you know what I mean? Again, and I just don’t want to be that person just thrown in. You know, definitely got to be hands-on. How you gonna bring me in, and that part right there. But yeah, man, I’d do it for the fans. Yes, if the fans, I mean they want me to back.”
Rikishi also noted that fans should make their voices heard if they wanted him to be Roman Reigns’ Wiseman. He mentioned them displaying signs and posters of “Bring back Rikishi” or the likes during the weekly shows like RAW or SmackDown could go a long way to making things happen:
I need to hear it, I need to see it, I need to feel it. I need to see your signs up there on Monday Night RAW, I need to see your signs on SmackDown, ‘Bring back Rikishi.’ That’s what I need to see, and then once that things like that start to, I can see the fans. Because when the WWE Universe speaks, the fan speaks man f**k, it happens real quick.”
It will be interesting to see if Rikishi managing a new lineup of The Bloodline with Roman Reigns will happen in the future.
