WWE Drop Major Bullet Club Reference On Latest Raw

With Bullet Club the talk of the wrestling world due to their exploits in New Japan, now two former leaders of the group had a ‘too sweet’ reunion on WWE Raw.

Bullet Club was formed in New Japan Pro Wrestling in May 2013 by Bad Luck Fale, Tame Tonga, Karl Anderson, and ‘The Real Rock ‘N’ Rolla’ Prince Devitt. Three of those stars were in attendance at the recent Wrestling Dontaku show where Bullet Club dominated the night. Devitt, however, is now better known as Finn Balor but he clearly hasn’t forgotten his roots.

On Monday Night Raw, another former leader of Bullet Club, AJ Styles, faced off with Damian Priest ahead of his WrestleMania rematch with Edge at WrestleMania Backlash. Styles managed to pick up the win over Priest, meaning Judgement Day’s punisher will be barred from ringside when Styles and Edge go to war again.

After the bout, Styles was attacked by Edge and Priest before being bailed out by Finn Balor. After Balor and Styles had seen off their foes, they shared a ‘too sweet’ together in the ring.

This is of course not the first time WWE has referenced Bullet Club with Styles forming a trio with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson twice in WWE, first as The Club and then later as The OC.

Wrestling Dontaku was a banner night for Bullet Club as they unveiled Juice Robinson as the newest member of their faction. Taiji Ishimori captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title for the group while Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens won the IWGP Tag Team Championship.
