WWE Bringing Back Halloween Havoc

NXT Halloween Havoc WWE

WWE is already looking past Worlds Collide with a new report suggesting Halloween Havoc will be making a return with NXT this October!

The former WCW pay-per-view was relaunched as an NXT event back in 2020 during the pandemic and saw Io Shirai win a Tables, Ladders, and Scares match to retain her NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae.

At 2021’s edition of the event, the main event saw Tommaso Ciampa retain his NXT Championship against Bron Breakker, and Breakker could feature heavily in 2022’s edition as well.

PWInsider reported that Halloween Havoc will return on the 22nd of October and will be the next NXT special following Worlds Collide on the 4th of September.

Halloween Havoc will be the first NXT special that takes place following the demise of NXT UK. Worlds Collide will see the last vestiges of that brand disappear as the NXT UK, NXT UK Women’s, and NXT UK Tag Team Championships will be unified with the NXT 2.0 versions of each belt.
