WWE Believe Former Talent Is Heading To AEW

According to a new report sources within WWE believe that another former talent is set to make the jump to All Elite Wrestling.

As reported by Fightful Select sources within WWE believe that former announcer and on-screen personality Renee Paquette could be heading to AEW. It had been suggested elsewhere that WWE had reached out to Paquette over bringing her back to the company but this remains unconfirmed.

Fightful add that they have reached out to both Paquette and AEW but neither has confirmed the move.

Renee Paquette is married to current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

It was announced on October 7th that Moxley had signed a new five-year deal with the company. The new deal will see the star also take up mentoring and coaching roles, as well as being tied “exclusively” to AEW and their partners. This caveat implies Moxley will no longer be able to compete in GCW where he has made a number of appearances.

Renee Paquette signed with WWE in 2012, remaining with the company until August 2020. During her time with WWE, appearing under the name Renee Young, she worked in a variety of on-screen roles, becoming the first woman to hold a permanent position on the Monday Night Raw commentary team in 2018.

The star left WWE following SummerSlam 2020 but has continued to make occasional appearances.

Since leaving the company Paquette released her own cookbook as well as launching her own podcast called The Sessions.
