New reports about original scrapped plans for this recently released WWE star.
Ahead of the 7th February SmackDown episode, reports emerged about Cedric Alexander being released from the promotion. A stream of several other releases soon followed it, including multiple popular WWE names.
Last year, drafted to the main roster after a successful NXT stint, fans saw Blair Davenport rise to the ranks of SmackDown before a sudden halt occurred. Now, just a few hours after her release, Fightful Select shared more details on the original plans for Davenport.
When the blue brand became a three-hour show, it was rumored that Davenport would be featured more on it. Unfortunately, it did not happen. Fightful Select now notes that Davenport had not been discussed for any creative plans in November, December, and early January.
However, she was recently suggested to join the team of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven and was recently brought on television for it.
