Bad Bunny To Make WWE Return
Backlash will mark Bad Bunny’s first WWE appearance since the 2022 Royal Rumble. On that occasion, he was a surprise entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match. He made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37 where he teamed with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison.
In a statement about Backlash the star said:
“In 2005 when I was a kid, I wasn’t able to attend New Year’s Revolution at el Coliseo. Finally, 18 years later WWE returns to the island with a massive event and this time I won’t miss it.”
Back in September Triple H revealed that he was set to meet with the star to discuss further appearances, while pictures of the pair together surfaced three months later.
