WWE Officially Announces WrestleMania 40 Logo

WWE WrestleMania Stage

WWE have set their plans into motion for 2024 already as they unveil their logo for WrestleMania 40 which will take place in Philadelphia.

Back in July WWE announced that WrestleMania 40 will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The event is set to be held across two days on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April 2024.

WWE revealed the logo for the spectacular, sharing the graphic before Extreme Rules 2022 which is also being held in Philadelphia.

The company has now officially announced the logo on social media sharing a video of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler sharing the stage with Philadelphia Eagles’ cheerleaders and mascot to unveil it.

Long-time fans will be pleased to see the return of Roman numerals to the WrestleMania logo – these were last used back in 2014 for WrestleMania 30 before the event began a decade of being officially without a number under Vince McMahon’s leadership.

The event hasn’t been held in Philadelphia since 1999, when WrestleMania 15 was held at the First Union Center, now known as the Wells Fargo Center.

As has become tradition, the city will also host Friday Night SmackDown, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, and Monday Night Raw. These will take place at the Wells Fargo Center, while other fan events will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
